Dexter, the owner, is the most honest mechanic I’ve ever known. In the spring I was quoted an amount to fix my AC. A few months later when I had it fixed he was able to get the part cheaper. Some mechanics wouldn’t have passed on the savings to the customer. My parents have gone to him for over 10 years.

We’ve been bringing our cars to Alliance Service Center for over a decade now and have always been pleased with their top-notch service and competitive pricing. More importantly, you can trust that they are telling the truth. I’ve had numerous experiences where people at an oil change or tire shop gave me a laundry list of repairs and maintenance totaling hundreds of dollars. I always say, “I’ll think about it”, and then take the list to Dexter and Randy at Alliance Service Center. Without fail, there are items that don’t need to be addressed. These guys have saved me tons of money over the years and I recommend them to everyone I know. They’ve recently expanded and have a nice, clean waiting room with wi-fi access as well.

👍  Trustworthy and Competent

Highly recommend this place. Trustworthy, competent, & very thorough. Dexter runs the shop, and he will take care of you. Some shops want to cherry pick the work they want to do, but Dexter & Randy have done anything I’ve asked them to do. They always call me with what they have found, and I never get the feeling that they are trying to upsell me or fix things that don’t really need fixing. I’ve been there 4? times now, and will be back many more times. Especially if you drive an old car like me, you need a good mechanic like Dexter.

Alliance is absolutely the best car service center in town! We’ve been going to them for over 12 years with our old cars and trucks. A good car repairman is like a good family doctor…if he knows your car, he can tell you when to fix things and when you can wait. That’s how we feel about Dexter and Randy. You can trust their advice and be assured the prices will be fair. And the proof is in how long the car lasts. Most of our cars/trucks are over 150k miles, and are still running like a charm. One Honda that Alliance maintained over a 10 year period is up to 200k miles and still going strong. If you want to have reliable service you can trust at reasonable prices…go to Alliance.

Given that our 3 kids are all in college, we drive what I’ve come to call our “fleet of used cars”. Each one has over 200K miles on it, including one with 300K+. We require honest, reasonable support to help us keep our vehicles roadworthy, and Dexter (& Randy) have helped us do this for ~15 years. The original referral to go to Alliance came from someone in our neighborhood. I must give Dexter credit for his approach, as he understands the pressures of family finances, and always lets us know whether recommended repairs are needed right away (for safety reasons), or can be delayed. The only things not offered by Alliance are tire service and weekend hours, but the shop has a comfortable, private customer waiting area with fast WIFI, so I can work while I wait. I recommend Alliance without hesitation.

Not your usual auto repair shop. Dexter and Randy are very skilled and capable. But, one differentiator is that they are honest. They tell you when you can get 2,000 more miles off a part.
Good, trustworthy mechanics that have seen and repaired just about everything.

I feel fortunate that a close friend recommended Alliance Service Center many years ago. Randy and Dexter are really, really good at what they do. They are honest, fair and I know I can always trust their judgment wholeheartedly. They are thorough and genuinely care about the quality of their work and making their customers feel at ease in an otherwise stressful situation.

There are not very many shops like Alliance out there. Definitely as good as it gets.
This is the best auto-repair shop in the Atlanta area. They are reliable, fair, and keep our old cars running like new. We’ve been with Alliance for a decade or more, and send all our family and friends to them. Alliance will fix the right problem and charge a fair price. They are trustworthy, honest and never over-charge.
